in keeping our bodies healthy. Because
food is so important to our health we
need to learn about NUTRITION.
We will be learning about:
- Nutrients like proteins,
carbohydrates, fats, vitamins,
minerals and water that are in food
that are necessary to keep us
alive
- Different types of food and
which nutrients they contain
- Understanding Food Labels and
the Nutrition Facts that are listed
on most foods
