What we eat is very important in keeping our bodies healthy. Because food is so important to our health we need to learn about NUTRITION.

We will be learning about:

  • Nutrients like proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and water that are in food that are necessary to keep us alive
  • Different types of food and which nutrients they contain
  • Understanding Food Labels and the Nutrition Facts that are listed on most foods
